JUNIOR ARCHITECT
Description
We are seeking candidates that have completed at least one (1) year of NYC experience, preferably in a large or medium size firm. Candidates must be detail oriented, able to work within strict management parameters, and must have excellent communications skills with the ability to interact with clients and consultants. Ideal applicants should have a good working knowledge of technical and construction procedures. You will help track all project aspects, including the NYC DOB filing process and other agency related items.
experience required
Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Structural Engineering.
At least one (1) year of experience in a mid to large A&E firm.
One (1) or more complete years of working experience in NYC on NYC projects.
Full Proficiency in Auto-Cad 2015.
Basic knowledge of NYC Building and Zoning Codes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS-Project, Excel).
3D Modeling and Rendering experience. (Sketch Up, Rhino)
Must be organized, punctual and methodical with both presentation and communication - written and oral.
